Biography
Dr. Lloyd P. Nattkemper, maintains a full-time practice in periodontics, periodontal microsurgery and implantology in Monterey, California, where he has practiced since 1989. He is a 1983 graduate of the UCSF School of Dentistry, completed residencies in general practice and periodontics at the West Los Angeles V.A. Medical Center, and practiced in Santa Rosa, California until 1988. Dr. Nattkemper has taught in the undergraduate periodontal department at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry from 1986 to 1995, at the Cabrillo College School of Dental Hygiene since 1995, and has recently joined the faculty at the Newport Coast Oral Facial Institute. He has used the operating microscope in his practice since 1996 in the majority of his surgical procedures. Dr. Nattkemper is currently serving as President of the Monterey Bay Dental Society.
