Biography
Dr. Glenn van As graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1987 and has been in general practice since then. In addition, he was an assistant clinical professor at U.B.C. from 1989-99. He has published numerous articles and traveled extensively throughout North America lecturing and training dentists in hands on workshops on the benefits of utilizing both surgical operating microscopes and multiple wavelengths of lasers in general practice. He has accumulated a wealth of multimedia microdigital photography and videography that make his powerpoint presentation enlightening and entertaining. He was past president of AMED in 2005. Dr. van As lives in Deep Cove, British Columbia with his wife Lee-Ann and their 2 children.
